Jared is the Founder and CEO of Jester Communications. He is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a Graphic Design concentration. With an eye for detail and a sales-oriented persona, he is the visionary leader for Jester Communications. Jared has been setting the tone for success at Jestercom since its founding in 2000 consistently expanding the company’s reach into major verticals. He has built a solid reputation through premium design and functionality for some of the largest manufacturers in the world.
Jessica has worked in both public and private accounting for nearly a decade. She began her career working in a Certified Public Accounting office. Having held the title of Staff Account and Accounting Manager, Jessica brings a strong background in business management and finance. She has helped companies reach record high profit margins and create manageable budgets. Jessica graduated with a Bachelor in Business Management. When not at the office you will find her spending quality time with her son and close-knit family. She started at Jester Communications in March 2012.
Digital Operations Manager
Lindsy is a hands-on leader that emphasizes teamwork and cooperation. She champions individuals and establishes a collaborative, performance-driven culture that consistently meets and exceeds expectations. In previous endeavours, Lindsy demonstrated the ability to identify necessary technology solutions acting as a liaison between clients and developers. She has assisted in the UI design and production of new database/dashboard software currently utilized to publish conference proceedings for the hardware industry as well as reporting software utilized by government contractors.
Account Rep / Project Manager
Philip Burckhalter graduated from Clemson University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, with a minor in finance. Immediately after graduation, “Phil” took a role as a Financial Representative in Greenville, NC, for roughly a year and a half before moving to Charleston, SC. There he was a Mortgage Consultant for Homeowners Mortgage. In early 2013, he brought his sales and finance background to Jestercom and joined the team as a Sales Associate. Since then, Philip has proven his talent for Project Management and interacts with the majority of Jester Communications' clients.
Jessica graduated in 2011 from USCB with a bachelors in Business Administration, concentrating in management and marketing. While in college she was an administrative assistant for a real estate developer that is responsible for making Bluffton the community that it is today. Since then, she has gained experience in sales as an account executive and is passionate about building relationships with clients and connecting consumers with businesses through web, print, social media and networking. She's a member of the Young Professionals Group and spends her weekends with her friends and family on the May River.
Dan has worked in B2B and retail sales for 13 years. He has been in different forms of management which included building sales forces in and outside of brick and mortar locations. He trained sales teams and leaders on a national scale for 3 years and held the highest ROI the entire time in position. When he isn’t at the office he is spending time with his daughter and wife enjoying all Hilton Head Island, SC has to offer.
Senior Creative Director
Travis earned his BFA in Graphic Design from Winthrop University. Recognized for his expertise in branding, logo, website, and UI designs, Travis has served as a designer for many reputable organizations including John Deere, Pinkerton Services Group, Anderson Communications, six years as an independent designer, and Spirer Communications. While with Spirer, Stephenson developed a $3MM award-winning campaign for Brunswick Forest prior to coming on board Jester Communications as Senior Creative Director. Since 2008, Travis has become an invaluable resource in creating products, winning awards, and keeping Jester at the forefront of high caliber design and best practice intuitive
Ryan comes to Jester Communications from the frigid Saginaw Bay region of Michigan where he earned his B.A. in Graphic Design from Saginaw Valley State University in 2008. After graduation Ryan went to work for the marketing & management agency of local NBA athlete Jason Richardson. In 2010 Ryan relocated to the Lowcountry, trading the ice and snow for the sun and sand. Prior to joining JesterCom Ryan worked as an Interactive Designer with BFG Communications, creating unique and unforgettable web and mobile experiences for clients such as Mello Yello, Whirlpool, ACE Hardware, and Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Co.
In 2012, Elisa earned her IT Bachelor degree from AASU, GA. She did an internship with Memorial University Medical Center where she was part of the development team that created the hospital's infrastructure, Horizon Ambulatory Care (HAC). She was responsible for data conversions and the development of the GUI. After graduation, Elisa joined Jestercom in October 2012 to work with our development team. Her responsibilities include the development of server-side applications, managing infrastructure, and improving client-side projects along with the front-end development of our award winning applications. She continues to learn and improve her skills with Jestercom.
Chris has been designing software for the last 13 years. He has helped establish Jester Communications as the leader in distributed software solutions for the marine industry with his expertise in cloud based services and distributed data management. His background is in web programming, web application design, UI design, and mobile development. He’s been with Jester Communication since 2008, working on, and overseeing, all technical aspects of the company. Before that, Chris worked with several other organizations working on database design management and other forms of software development.
From Asheville, North Carolina, Jess Austin graduated top of her program while earning a diploma in Mobile Development, a program one of the first of its kind in the country in Spring 2014. During her final semester, she was sought out by JesterCom and when recommended by her instructors, went through an interview process that led to her working at JesterCom full time as a junior developer, and will continue to learn and improve her skills.
Travis is a software developer that enjoys doing a little bit of everything. His interest in computing grew from a desire to automate the mundane and structure information. After spending 5 years designing and deploying databases he spent time writing software to trace and analyze axonal projections in the human brain derived magnetic resonance images. Aside from writing software, Travis enjoys riding bikes, playing sports and getting out to the beach when he can.
Sven began his career writing code to support materials research and secure scientists' computers. In 2008 he switched to business software, focusing on payment processing, quality assurance testing and business intelligence / reporting software. He has a passion for good design and reliable software and loves both transforming data and crafting fun user experiences. He joined Jester Communications in 2015.
Engineering Operations and Testing
Mr. Prancan has more than 24 years experience in managing testing in research and development environments before joining Jester Communications. Mr. Prancan has served as a consultant to Houghton Mifflin Publishing Technology Division. He also nurtured two startups's growth into medium-sized, successful companies. There Mr. Prancan managed engineer divisions at Bay Networks Systems Test Group and Avici Systems. He has extensive knowledge of building automation test groups. Mr. Prancan holds two Masters of Science degrees: Physics from University of Denver and Computer Science and Mathematics from University of Illinois, Chicago.
Data Management Assistant
Gary has the unique experience of spending 15 years in the Culinary industry prior to joining Jester Communications. After spending the first 16 years of life in Upstate NY and the next 10 years in the Atlanta area, Gary spent a few years attending the “School of Hard Knocks” and a couple of years in the US Army. Through his experiences, he has developed a keen eye for detail, an intense work ethic and a different angle of critical thought and problem solving.
