Q: How can I request a copy of the application?

A: Send an email to Dealer Support with the following information:

  • Your dealership’s name
  • Name of which iPad Application you are requesting a subscription for
  • Your Dealership’s mailing address, city, state and zip code. If your dealership has mulitiple locations, please give an address for each
  • Dealership’s main phone number
  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your title
  • Optional: we can set up additional salespeople accounts for your dealership; we simply request a name, email address and store location info for each.

After our Dealer Support team verifies that you are an active, certified dealer with your manufacturer, you will be emailed an invitation to download the application; a username and password will be included in this email.

 

Q. Can I use this application on devices other than an iPad? (i.e. iPhones, Android devices, PC desktops, etc.)

A. No. Applications are designed to function on iPad’s Generation 2 and above, including mini and Air models. Note: the AMS (Application Management System), or the back-end content management system, where Dealerships update their store information, add new salespeople, or access the Dealer Portal, is available to use on desktops, iPads, or Mac-based products.

Q. I’ve lost my login credentials to my app. Where can I retrieve them?

A. Most applications have been designed with a link in the Resources section of the application to the AMS (the Application Management System). The login page allows you to retrieve your password. Alternately, please email dealersupport@jestercom.com.

Q. Can I reset my password?

A. Yes, by logging in the AMS (Application Management System) and editing your account.

Note: the username and password to access the iPad application is the same username and password you’ll use to access the back-end of the application, the AMS

Q. I’ve accidentally deleted the application and need to reload it to my iPad. Where can I find the link to download the application?

A. Either revisit your original invitation email or within the AMS, click on the star icon on the left hand navigation , which will bring you to the correct download page.

Q. How can I add more salespeople to my application?

A. Access training videos and PDFs within the Resources section of your application. These materials explain how to log into the AMS, click on the “people” icon on the left hand navigation , select Salespeople, and Add. You will need a salesperson’s full name and email address to add them to your dealership. Make sure to designate them as a manager or salesperson and associate them with dealership location (if you have multiple locations).

Q. I have salespeople that are no longer with my dealership and I want to close their account.

A. From the AMS, search for and edit that salesperson by selecting Deactivate.

Q. Is this application permissions-based?

A: This application is based on hierarchical permissions. Dealership owners or Sales Managers are designated as “managers,” who can see all the activity and salespeople associated with their dealership. They see salespeople’s sales leads. On the individual salesperson level, staff can only see their own sales leads, emails, etc. Inventory built by the Manager of a dealership is seen by all accounts associated with that dealership.

Q. How can I add my store’s logo (which appears at the bottom of emails going out of the application, i.e. price quotes, etc.)?

A. Log in to the AMS (Application Management System). Select the “people” icon on the left hand navigation . Click on Dealerships. Select your dealership. Click the third tab called Logos . Upload your store logo here. Make sure to hit save at the top right of the screen when complete. Now you can test that the logo appears correctly by emailing any asset (photo, video, price quote) from the iPad application.

Q. How can I make sure that I have the most up-to-date version of the application?

A. Most of the iPad applications reside on the App Store. This means that any programmatic or content-related updates are automatically downloaded into your application. You may receive an alert notifying you that updates are available when you open the app. While connected to a wifi connection, update your app. Questions? Contact dealersupport@jestercom.com.

Q. I want to create my own marketing materials for my store. Do I have access to download high-resolution imagery?

A. Yes. By logging into the back-end of the application, the AMS, click on the dealer portal icon on the left hand navigation  to see photos, videos, and more associated with each of your products.

Q. Beyond using this application as a brochure that houses product information, I want to use the sales leads function, the margin function, inventory module or supplier module. How do I do this?

A. Access instructional videos and PDFs within your application’s Resources section, or jump on our monthly training webinars. We’re excited to show you how this application can help reduce your sales cycle and move more product.
